SUPPORT CAR NEEDED – Spacious Places is fund raising – a team will be walking the 3 Peaks on Saturday 26th May. They require a support car to be at Ribblehead Viaduct for 11am with drinks, snacks and a comforting word!! It may be necessary to bring a weary walker home. Can you help? Please see John S if you can. There will also be a sponsor form at the back of Baseline this Sunday.
BAND OF BLOKES - the next meeting is May 27th, there is no meeting in June, and then after that July 29th.
MARRICK – minimum numbers have been met so the men’s weekend will go ahead in September. There are still places available – see John S if you’re interested.
“GETTING YOUR KIDS THROUGH CHURCH WITHOUT THEM ENDING UP HATING GOD” - CARE FOR THE FAMILY TOUR - Wed 23rd May at ALC, Bradford, 7:30 – 10pm with live worship from Phatfish and drama from Saltmine Theatre Company. Tickets are £12 each or £9 if 7 or more people book. Please let Annie O know if you want to go and she will organise to get the discount.
KIDZKLUB - has involvement in 2 upcoming events. There is a GIG NIGHT on Friday 1st June, at HiFi Club. The doors will open at 6pm on the night and will be finished by10.30pm, but there is a funk night on at Hifi following the live music, which will be free for all those who come to see the bands first. See Trish for more details.
POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT CONFERENCE – Joe is leading a weekend conference June 16th & 17th at 62c (Saturday & Sunday, 10am – 5pm). Leaflets are at the back of Baseline.
COME AND PRAY - A group of people meets regularly to pray before Baseline for the service and for those who will be coming. It runs from 9.30 to 10.15am. Please come and join us – remember - The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5 v 13.
