ASSEMBLIES: Annie & Mike will again be going into 20 primary schools to do assemblies after the half-term holidays. They would like to thank you for your generosity as they have been able to buy (from last year’s mission offering) 600 Scripture Union books for the Year 6 Leavers. Please be praying for them as they continue to communicate God’s love and for the Year 6s, that the books will be a continuation of their journey with Him. MISSION TEAMS AT LEEDS FEST NEEDED! Leeds Street Angels will be running a 24/7 tea, coffee & prayer tent, a lost property tent and a detached team across the campsite of 120,000 people. They need volunteers (over 18s only) with many different gifts, training will be given and good people skills are essential. The festival runs from 21st – 26th August. Volunteers need to commit for a minimum of 20 hours to get a free wristband, and options for accommodation are available. Contact beth@leedsstreetangels.org.uk for more information.

LINDA HARDING – AN UPDATE: Thank you from Linda for praying for her whilst in the Philippines. Her clear focus is to be on Europe, to mobilise those who feel called to mobilise the church, to train up trainers for Kairos in countries and regions and to pilot some new resources to encourage and empower the “ministry” of believers in their workplaces and communities. She will now be spending more time in the UK with some short visits to Romania and Belgium coming up.
