DAYSPRING COUNSELLING CENTRE
All of us at one time or another may go through rough times. We can experience anxiety, fear, stress, loneliness, depression or sudden crisis. Dayspring Counselling Centre has been operating since 1995 and has a team of trained counsellors from different churches and denominations. Clients do not have to be a Christian to come for help.
The Centre works according to the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC) Code of Ethics and Practice. All counsellors are working towards accreditation or are accredited by recognised professional counselling bodies.
The service offered is confidential. After an initial assessment, 3 sessions can be offered. Client and counsellor will then review and extend this arrangement as required. There is a scale of recommended contributions but we will not turn anyone away who is unable to pay.
Contact can be made by telephoning the Centre on 0113 287 5055, by emailing counselling@dayspringchurch.co.uk or by talking to Sheila at Baseline.
Dayspring Counselling Centre has recently joined the range of helping agencies available at Gateway Church York, situated in Acomb (www.gatewaychurch.co.uk ) Contact at Gateway can be made by texting of phoning Geoff Mayers on 07941 508735.
