BASELINE – and there will be a meeting each Sunday in September at the school, usual times.

Prayer for all our young people – Do you have a heart for your own teens or the young people of families of Dayspring?? If so, come along and pray, soak and seek God for them. Check with Julie B or Gill for next one.

‘Quizaid’ Quiz Night – Fundraiser for Christian Aid – Wednesday 15th September at Baraka – why not bring your friends and neighbours and register a team! Or change your cell night and have a social ! 7pm for drinks, cake etc then quiz to start 7.30-7.45ish. There will be a small charge to enter and all other donations welcome – more details to follow. So that we can keep an eye on numbers, please contact the Hub on 0113 2320898 or email info@dayspringchurch.co.uk and be thinking of a team name!

Karibu Arts Group – A monthly get-together for anyone interested in faith, arts and people.

Chris Schorah’s Book – If anyone has no further use for Chris’ book ‘Chronicles of Fire’ he’d be grateful if one or two could be donated back to him, as he has orders for a few copies, but insufficient to make another print run worthwhile. However, if you have plans to pass it on yourself please keep it.

Accountability – Beth spoke at a recent Baseline on this subject. Have you found someone to be accountable for and ask how you are doing. It’s both helpful and healthy … after all, you wouldn’t mark your own exam paper would you ??? Her talk is available in paper format – let the Hub know if you would like a copy.

Mobile Haircuts -If you fancy a trim, why not give Julie Burns a ring. She is now a mobile hairdresser and her prices are a snip. Call Julie on 07766 835551.

Osmondthorpe Space – had a great time at Soul Survivor along with Burley Space – please keep praying for the guys who went. Four young people gave their lives to Jesus and Andy would like to thank everyone who supported them in prayer and donated goods for the car boot sales.

Kairos – a new course kicks off on Saturday 23rd Oct. A 9 lesson interactive study in God’s plan and purpose for the world and you. Cost £150.00 but help with funding is available if needed. Contact Clare J. asap if you are interested

Hungry Hearts – a meeting for anyone seeking to develop greater intimacy with God through worship and prayer. Alternate Saturdays at St. Matthias, Burley, 7.30pm, in the parish centre, next one: 11th September. If you regularly attend Hungry Hearts – then please read on, if not then read on anyway!! Those of you who have been going for a while know that Joe’s PA equipment has reached the end of its life. Using equipment like this does create unnecessary stress and anxiety which we could do without. So Phil has volunteered to facilitate raising some cash to go towards getting some new equipment. If this is something you would like to help with please contact Phil for further details. The money can be donated through ‘Stewardship Services’ (if you pay tax) if at least £30.00.

What’s Your Promise? campaign. Get 10.10.10. in your diary.
The campaign is a challenge from Micah Challenge asking people to make a simple promise to help end poverty.The campaign will culminate on 10.10.10. with services around the world. Make your promise at www.whatsyourpromise.org.uk

Encouragement – a series of meetings with the first on on Sunday 26th Sept at 6.30 at Cedar Court Hotel in Harrogate. There will be students from the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. The plan is for prophetic art training, personal prophecy and discussion of plans for Sozo ministry.
