Sunday Morning Worship
A key part of our church life is Basecamp; the name for our main Sunday morning worship times.
We meet every 1st and 3rd Sunday at 10:30am in Garforth Library, on Main Street in Garforth, Leeds.
Our next meeting is:
A Basecamp is a place to rest, be refreshed and equipped. A starting point for a journey, not the destination.
What to expect
We love to gather together as a church to worship and enjoy God’s presence together. Our meetings start at 10:30am, usually with a welcome and introduction from the person leading the meeting before a time of sung worship. We usually follow this with teaching and a time of ministry.
Our style is non-religious and we want people to be free to be involved wherever you are on your journey with Jesus.
Kids & Youth
We want our Sunday church meetings to be as relevant to our young people as possible, and give them a place to encounter Jesus for themselves.
Our younger kids go out at the start of the meeting for a time of worship led by one of our worship team. They then break into age groups for fun and learning: Pips (pre schoolers), Joy Club (Key Stage 1) and Glo (Key Stage 2).
We also have a youth group for those in school year 7 and above, who stay in for the main worship time before heading over to Cielo Coffee for something way cooler.
We’re expectant to experience God’s transforming presence when we gather together, and always give space for people to be prayed for. Our prayer team are always on hand to pray with you and we often have ministry times following worship.
We also have a regular slot for people wanting to receive prayer for physical healing – 10am before the main church meeting.
After the Meeting
The meeting usually finishes by 12-12:15pm where we have tea and coffee together. This is a great opportunity to meet and catch up with people.
If you’re new, you’ll no doubt be given a warm welcome, but feel free to stay as long as you feel comfortable.
